My name is Matthew Hamblin, aka Hambone. I’ve been tattooing since 2001. Shortly after getting out of the Air Force I moved from Spokane Washington back to the Dayton Ohio area. I started my apprenticeship in 2000 under Brian Brenner.
In 2002 I moved back to Spokane Washington and worked at a few shops with some really talented people. 2010 I opened Boars Head Tattoo Parlor and had a blast owning and working in my own paradise. I closed it down in 2016 when I moved to the Jacksonville Florida area.
Now at the end of 2023 I’m looking forward to a new adventure down here in Cocoa Beach at Endless Summer Tattoo. I mainly like working in traditional, neo-traditional, and Japanese style of tattooing. When I’m not slinging that tat-magic I love to spend time with my beautiful wife and awesome children, paint tattoo flash both watercolor and digital.
Tattooing has given me such a great life, allowed me to meet some of the most awesome and genuine people from all walks of life, and have gotten to visit some awesome cities and states. I only hope to leave a mark on this world like the great tattoo legends did before me. Thanks for reading this and I look forward to doing a great tattoo for you.
