My name is Aimee Riddlehoover, I was born and raised here in Brevard county, Florida. I have had an interest in art ever since I could pick up a pencil. When I was 18 years old, I decided I wanted to turn my love for art into a career, I just didn’t know how. Little did I know that my first experiences sitting in a tattoo chair would spark such an interest to me.
In April 2021, I applied to Endless Summer and was hired with no promise to become an apprentice. I stayed persistent and dedicated towards my goal and in August 2022, Mark gave me the opportunity to start my apprenticeship. I have learned so much already but one thing Mark has taught me that will stick forever is that even as an established tattoo artist, you should always keep an apprentice mentality and constantly desire to learn more. My favorite tattoo style is traditional Japanese. Not only is it beautiful and vibrant, but it is also a root in the history of tattoos and I’m excited to learn more about the folklore and mythological creatures. I’m very grateful to be a part of Endless Summer and I can’t wait to see what else this journey has in store for me!
