Noah Neilson, (son of Tom Neilson surfboards… the main boards I ride) broke his neck. He is now in a halo, has no health insurance, and has huge hospital bills right now. My good pal Redd is throwing a Surf Contest to raise money for his bills, and I am throwing the after party. I am going to paint a board on the beach at the contest and raffle it off at the after party. I am gonna DJ with 3 other killer DJ’s at the party. Everyone should come. The contest is behind Neilson Surf Shop on the beach, and after party is at Rum Runners in Cocoa Beach.

Mark Longenecker spent a week in San Clemente, CA with his good friend Drew Brophy doing non-stop art. They hand panted a surf/ocean inspired flash set . They both painted vans for a very hip van rental company called Escape Camper Vans- www.escapecampervans.com . Mark even got Drew to tattoo him while he was there. Mark Longenecker, Wes Diffie, Bill Hannong & Tom Meyer have been making many trips to the state’s capitol building. They have been lobbying and showing support for Tattoo Bill 942. This bill will help regulate an unregulated tattoo industry.

Yes I, it’s my biggest party of the year…and all for a good cause. So mark your calendars and get out your dancing shoes! I will be raffling off another hand painted surf board by me (Mark Longenecker) and all the money will go to the National Suicide Hotline. $3 Red Stripe all night. Mark Longenecker and Jimmy South went on a surf trip to Nicaragua. Had a great time, caught some huge waves, did some volcano boarding, and painted some .
